Terms of Use
Last updated: 30 June 2026
Welcome to Ayatfree — a free, nonprofit platform for reading, listening to, and memorizing the Qur'an. By using ayatfree.com, you agree to these terms. Please read them.
The service
Ayatfree is provided free of charge as a nonprofit project, on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, or remove features, and we don't guarantee the service will always be available or uninterrupted.
Religious content
The Qur'an is the sacred scripture of Islam. Translations and recitations on this site are provided by third parties for personal study and reflection — including English (Saheeh International) and Urdu (Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari) translations, and recitations by their respective reciters, who are credited in the app. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranty as to the completeness or correctness of any translation, transliteration, or audio. For religious rulings or authoritative guidance, please consult a qualified scholar.
Acceptable use
Ayatfree is for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not:
- misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service;
- copy or redistribute the site's content on a commercial basis;
- use automated means to overload or scrape the service.
Intellectual property
The Qur'an itself is not owned by anyone. The Ayatfree name, design, and original code are owned by us or used under licence. Qur'an text, translations, and audio are provided by their respective sources and remain the property of those sources; we use them under their terms and provide attribution. You may use the site for your personal study; you may not claim ownership of, or commercially exploit, the content or branding.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, or that content will be accurate or always available.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ayatfree and its volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. As a free, nonprofit service, we provide it in good faith for the benefit of the community.
Third-party services and links
The site relies on and may link to third-party services and content. We aren't responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
